Chickp. officially formed in January 2019 after encouragement from Tessa’s partner. On inception Tessa actually named the company “Balanced Finance” but it didn’t feel enough. So Tessa started to explore the history of ethics and found it was allegedly introduced to society by a roman statesman called Cicero whose name comes from the word cicer which translates to English as “chickpea” – hence a rebrand in 2020 to Chickp.

We combine transformational discipline with human wellbeing, back it with no-risk guarantees, and deliver it in a bold, audacious style that CFOs and PE firms actually remember.
